If most jewelry conceals its construction through methods of refinement, subtraction, and finishing, my work seeks to make it evident. The exposure of joinery specifically, reveals methods of assembly, and provides direct access into the life of the making process. Welding is joining process used amongst auto mechanics, iron workers, and machinists, and serves as the main constructing method for my jewelry practice.
